In answer to your second question, you will find guidance in the follwing document:
Regarding your first question, I don't have the answer. Maybe somebody else has. Could you post an extract of your import file? That might help.
Thank you Bob for your support. That´s the pathway I´ve used: Ecotoxicological Information#Aquatic Toxicity#Mortality#LC50#96 h#Animalia#Chordata(Vertebrates)#Actinopterygii(Fish)#Oncorhynchus mykiss
This is not the proper path to import your data to. You need to import your data to Ecotoxicological Information#Aquatic Toxicity path. This is the predefined path. The nodes bellow come from the datapoint's metadata("Effect", "Endpoint", "Duration", "Test organisms (species)"
In your case, judging by the path provided, it should something like:
In case of horizontal import:
1 column marked "Effect" for the "Mortality"
1 column marked "Endpoint" for the "LC50"
2 columns marked "Duration", type value, for the number(96) and the unit (h) respectivelly
1 column marked "Test organisms (species)" for the "Oncorhynchus mykiss"
In case of vertical import:
You just need to move all the stuff bellow the Ecotoxicological Information#Aquatic Toxicit inside the metadata of your datapoint. You must be carefull to put the duration as a Value.
Note that the names of the metadata ("Effect", "Endpoint" etc.) are important since they are used for the dynamic tree building. You can check your settings by rightclicking on a node in the datamatrix and clicking on "Set tree hierarchy...". The nodes that have a dynamic subtree are marked with small blue triangle in the bottomright corner of the cell.
Here is the importing manual :ftp://ftp.oecd.org/database_import_wizard.pdf
Thank you very much for your support - you are my hero.
I just tried it by vertical import and succeeded!!!!!!!!!
