The OECD are pleased to inform you that the next OECD’s Statistical Information System Collaboration Community (SIS-CC) Workshop will take place in Paris from 8 to 11 April 2014.
The UNESCO Institute for Statistics (UIS) have kindly offered to provide the venue and host this year’s workshop at the UNESCO Headquarters 1, rue Miollis 75732 Paris Cedex 15, France, from Tuesday 8 April to Wednesday 9 April 2014 in Conference Room XIII, and at 7, place de Fontenoy 75352 Paris 07, France on Thursday 10 and Friday 11 April 2014 in Conference Room VIII bis and Room S387. The workshop will start at 11am on Tuesday 8 April and finish by 6pm on Friday 11 April.
Following on from the success of the previous three workshops (held in March 2011, March 2012 and April 2013), the OECD would again like to offer collaborating partners the opportunity to help shape the future of the community and discuss a number of key topics. An invitation for the first 2 days is also being extended to other interested groups and organisations who may be considering using one of the SIS tools and would like to know more about the community and learn from their experiences.
This year the workshop theme will be “Harvesting the fruits of Open Data”, and will consist of the following substantive topics:
