Welcome to the public community space for the OECD Working Party of National Experts on Science and Technology Indicators (NESTI)
NESTI is the OECD body in charge of monitoring, supervising, directing and co-ordinating OECD statistical work on science, technology and innovation (STI), contributing to the development of statistical standards, data infrastructure, indicators and quantitative analyses needed to meet the requirements and priorities of the Committee for Scientific and Technological Policy (CSTP). NESTI is one of the longest-serving OECD working groups - its existence pre-dates the creation of the OECD in 1962. This page provides access to information about the work of NESTI which spans statistical standard setting, data collection and dissemination, indicator development and statistically-grounded empirical analysis of STI phenomena.
