Following-up on the 114th Session of the OECD Committee for Science and Technology Policy (CSTP), we are pleased to announce that the 2019 edition of the STIP Survey will be launched on 8 July. The Survey will be prefilled with data that was previously submitted in the 2017 round and via the continuous monitoring tool up to 24 June. It will be conducted via the same online questionnaire tool developed for the 2017 survey, which will allow the survey’s national contact point (NCP, designated by CSTP delegates in the October 2018 meeting) to invite multiple country respondents and keep track of their inputs.
The results of the survey will be used by the OECD and EC to prepare various reports, including the OECD's STI Outlook 2020 publication and other ongoing PWB (Program of Work and Budget) projects as well as (for EU Member states) the European Semester country reports. The policy data will also be uploaded into the STIP Compass portal, which since its launch in April 2018 has been used widely by the policymaking and academic communities.
Below you will find dedicated scorecards for each country/territory. Each scorecard includes a set of figures that give different quality benchmarks of the current level of reporting in the database. Read more about the scorecards.
